Johnny Depp is the only actor to play Jack Sparrow. I would not go to the theater for future movies with any other actors playing the part. That was a personal matter between him and his wife, he’s a great actor and people want to see him.
Disney wants to pick and choose who they punish. People that abuse children appear to be acceptable to them while a man that’s done nothing wrong is shamed and humiliated without cause. That’s not ok. Johnny earned the pirates role. Anything else is just a mockery.

Only if he wants to. The verdict of the trial was to award Depp 15 million in damages- that’s how malicious they found Heard’s behaviour. It’s one of the highest amounts ever awarded in a defamation trial. He put so much of himself into basically creating that character utilising his unique talent to make a huge success for Disney. After building that relationship over many years Disney showed no empathy or compassion towards him. Seems like they just gave him the cold shoulder and shot themselves in the foot in the process. It gives the impression of a poor employer interested only in financial gain and seeing those they employ as merely commodities. I think as much as he loves the character it would be very hard for him to return at present. Even Captain Jack pirate though he might be shows far more loyalty and empathy than what the Dizney company has.

My kiddo and I have been pirates of the Caribbean fans from the very beginning. Choosing actors other than original actors especially when there have been so many of the series created often makes the films go downhill quickly. When you get emotionally invested In the characters, trying to replace them with a different face and different personality just doesn’t cut it. If you bring different actors in you might as well just quit making any pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Only if he wants to. The verdict of the trial was to award Depp 15 million in damages- that’s how malicious they found Heard’s behaviour. It’s one of the highest amounts ever awarded in a defamation trial. He put so much of himself into basically creating that character utilising his unique talent to make a huge success for Disney. After building that relationship over many years Disney showed no empathy or compassion towards him. Seems like they just gave him the cold shoulder and shot themselves in the foot in the process. It gives the impression of a poor employer interested only in financial gain and seeing those they employ as merely commodities. I think as much as he loves the character it would be very hard for him to return at present. Even Captain Jack pirate though he might be shows far more loyalty and empathy than what the Dizney company has.

I’m surprised Johnny is even back at all. The way he was treated for not being allowed to return to the franchise. Even after winning the case he wasn’t allowed to do many things that his wife that lost the case could. Depp even said that he would never return to the Pirates franchise after what they’ve done to him. Plus the next Pirates movie was gonna be feminine based. Which i would never watch. Hollywood should never be allowed to just put Depp right back in the Pirates franchise. Even though it would make for a more entertaining movie, this sounds like typical studios. I think the failure of “The Secrets of Dumbledore” had more to do with the firing of Johnny than the inclusion of Rowling.
