Perhaps cut his own annual million dollar salary in half preserving jobs and attempting to bring back stocked clean bathrooms and prevention of overflowing garbage cans throughout the parks?

SCUM BAGS are what ALL CEO’S 💯% ARE!

I think he’s wants to show DeSantis what Disney has done for Florida. By laying people off the unemployment office will be packed

Desatan isn’t suffering for any layoff. It’s SOF MONEY!

Isn’t it amazing that the CEO’s continue to make in the millions while Cast Members still sleep in their cars because they cannot afford housing. This by the way go’s for most all corporations. CEO’s drive Mercedes while workers drive bicycles.

What should they drive? How much should they make? If Disney continues to listen to cast members rather than its audience they will fail miserably.

WHICH audience? They listen to the SHAREHOLDERS. As for audience vs Cast Members? When was the last time any of the audience… or SHAREHOLDERS…made any magic in the parks for you? Walt would be so pissed. Having conversed with him when I was young I can attest to this!

I can see all rides temporary closed every day because of a shortage of workers.

  4. Wasnt it about 2 months ago, these same response boards were lit up with joy about a “raise” that was coming to employees? Well, this is what happens when wages go up in a major corporation– lay-offs and cuts and im willing to also bet that 90% of these layoffs are permanent– good luck to those who complained, picketed with signs, voiced their opinion publicly and privately– where are those who fought for their increase in wages??

Yet they sent Bob Chapek, who was fired/removed, with a $20 million dollar goodbye! When a person empties their bank account, takes all the risks to start up a business, they should reap the rewards, but that is not the case here.

Perhaps the laid off employees can be hired by DeSantis to build HIS prison next to Disney. His pompous ass is disincentivizing Disney investments in Florida at the expense of Floridians. Sulking Desantis trying to get even because his tiny fragile ego was hurt. What a dufuss!!!

    1. Steve

This has nothing to do with Desantis. The parks are over crowded, Disney keeps building new resorts and vacation clubs. It took Disney 4 years to build 1 new coaster, Universal is going build an entire new park in 2. Disney has a leadership problem and they also lack imagination, but they are not hurting for cash.

    2. Ct gator

Cast members are unskilled labor. Need skilled to build a prison. Sorry.

    3. Chapek Sucks

Disney already came out and blame the leadership of Chapek. He tanked the company and not Desantis. The effects of the tax changes Desantis imposed hasn’t gone through to Disney yet so you can’t blame the state!

Gross bathrooms, over flowing trash, and closed rides. Yet it’s $189 for 1 day. They can afford to pay and keep employees and pay the CEO. Walt Disney is spinning in his grave.

  8. Rich

Worthless Gen X hires are worthless. Good job Bob!

  9. Al

Have been to the park many times have never seen any of what you are talking about
