You neglected to mention Weather.
Hurricane season is in the fall, September and October, and even if your trip doesn’t coincide with a hurricane, there is still the possibility, or probability that there will be rain, often heavy, in the mid afternoon. Frequently in the fall, seldom in the spring.
But if you come and plan all year for a week in September, and then happen to get torrential rains on most of the days that you’re here in the afternoon, it is a real downer.

Great point! I was able to briefly add a quick little section discussing hurricane and rainy weather seasons in Florida and to plan accordingly.
