It take a lot of energy to be so committed to being negative all the time.

The World Showcase areas are sponsored by the countries they represent. The generic Africa area obviously does not have a specific sponsor so, therefore, doesn’t have a country to name it. Morocco is an African country and has its own “land” in EPCOT because Morocco paid to sponsor it. No “shame on Disney for not doing better.”

I was referring to the writer, not the “pavilion,” which this clearly is t anyway.

that little area either needs a major overhaul or get rid of it……..The price of a plain ole hot dog in a bun, with nothing on it, ( but little pks of ketchup and mustard are near the window) is 10 dollars……..the least they could do is make it a foot long dog . I wont pay it. They sell a little jewelery and have a few drums and thats about it………..nothing special to stop for

Shame on Disney to chose the outpost to represent Africa, which yes is a continent not a country. Yes you can experience various cultures from Africa at Animal Kingdom but you can also do the same for some Asian cultures. Yet said Asian culture beautifully represented at Epcot.
Come on Disney. You are usually really good at including everyone. Why haven’t you finally put in an actual African country, a WHOLE country, world display in Epcot? They deserve more than an outpost that sells American food too! Not even food from the African continent! Come on!!!!

I guess you didn’t know that MOROCCO is an African country. Perhaps you may want to brush up in your geographical knowledge before commenting.

The pavilions in Epcot are sponsored by the respective countries. If no African country other than Morocco chooses to sponsor a pavilion, that isn’t “shame on Disney”, and it isn’t Disney’s responsibility to put one in.

You can generate a lot of money and yet you don’t hire competent people to think thru projects

If you really want to complain that the country’s need to have a clear representation of their culture, then Disney needs to remove all merchandise from all the country’s and replace with merchandise made in that country. Stop in any shop and turn over an item and see where it is manufactured. I believe China is only country with “made in China” marking.

lets get rid of all that made in China and start using free countries or maybe this is a thought start making things in America and build up our economy and workforce. it isnt like we dont have the talent to do this
