The Mouse’s Ears are listening….(hopefully, because the bpBoard and Ms. McCarthy arent)

Yes, this is what it should have been and remained along. While other studios, networks jumped to streaming, Disney should have continued to license its movies, tv, to other streaming services such as Netflix,Amazon, Apple, etc…The majority profit potential is there, has always been

But noooooooo….Disney had to do what others were doing instead of being a trendsetter to television network, and theater box officer, Disney could have capitalized on the factbothers were jumping to streaming, saved billions, and reigned in network and theater box office profits. Always the hardest way possible….(its a Midwestern mindset) Disney wanted all thenprofit to themselves instead of sharing a small percentage with other services Disney did not realize that long term the costs would have saved thwm the billions loss incurred on Disney+

Disney+ shows have started, at least one, airing on Disney Channel, even if its two years old from the first air date.

At this point Disney should forget about 2024 being the first projected profitability for Disney+…go back to full licensing of movies and tv shows to other streaming services like Netflix which is the modern day Blockbuster Video via internet.

Then Disney should start to sell.off (if not license them) the FOX studios movie and tv properties. The price Disney paid for FOX in addition to billions lost in Disney+ could have contributed to a fifth theme park, maintenance of parks and resorts, helping lower ticket costs, etc….
    And
The big decision should be between Marvel and Star Wars franchise…Marvel makes the take at the box office, (Star Wars did, until irreputably damaged by Disney). Business decision of profit would dictate to keep Marvel and let go of Star Wars. However there maybe A New Hope for Star Wars with Disney only acting in financing films and tv, and in name, let the creatives do the work…All the hub bub Star Wars does appear to be so damaged that Marvel is Disneys bread and butter. Continue with the Marvel Movies and TV, but cut out all woke/PC ideology….its ok to introduce as a necessity to the story ALl types of characters, races, etc.,without making it a political indoctrination, propaganda, forcing identifying types of inhabitants within the story, replacing heroes with heroines….the madness has to stop for the sake of the storylines….

On the topic of tv, why cant Disney on ABC have a sci fi friday night? Debut new and or top Star Wars and Marvel.shows on, network, where the advertisers do pay millions for ads. Numbersindicated by Disney+subscribers are a small fraction compared to the more accessible network tv audiences. Why not? Thisis where the fandon and the profit are…network tv, and yes at thw box office too, in which any new tv show IP would prep the audiences for a big theatrical release of the IP.

    Marvel Monday Nights on ABC?
Star Wars Saturday Nights on ABC?
    Saturday Morning Cartoons on ABC?
    Yes it would all work.

Consolidate the cable networks….Discontinue Freeform, nothing on there that couldnt air on ABC or Disney Channel. DisneyXD, Disney Junior should be consolidated too into Disney Channel.

Sell of NatGeo, and or other cable properties.

Has anyone noticed that Disney, amogst others have youtube channels that they air content in there? Why keep paying for expansion channels. Use Youtube as a tool for that. Discontinue the expansion channels will save millions.

Disney does not need to own every IP in the world television or movies. Disney didnt need too. Their content was wholesome family friendly creations which stood on their own without having to rely in others established IPs, like Disney now does, then creatively destroy the inner workings of the IPs Disney purchases.

Just like Disney did not need:

To build the Animal Kingdom…Disney is not in the zoo business…

To go into the property leasing game as we see in Disney Springs…

To purchase FOX, ESPN, and others…Disney has their own IPs and Disney is not in the sports business.

So many other things could be added to the not necessary list…

In closing, Mickey, Mr. Iger, The Board of Directors, listen up…the first step is a big one, make the leap, yea it may sting bit, but do it. Disband Disney+, license all your media IPs to others…let the others take the rise or fall.on streaming. Disney concentrate on movies, animated features, original live action films, ABC and Dianey channel, parks and resorts, and thats it!
