Theme park workers, film crews, sports crews, theater staff, first responders that are critical to staff and guest safety to all work in person, but office staff being treated differently.
Reality is this company is out of business if all working from home.

Zoom and other scheduled meetings are no substitute for spontaneous interaction amongst creative staff.

Ah. So Iger reached the same layoff conclusion as Chapek eh? Iger is just smoother about layoffs.
In office collaboration is bunk for old timers who have little idea how to effectively use collaborative software. Certainly there are jobs that need physical presence. If you can be out one day, you can be out every day. Clueless think they can brute force workers into the office. Savvy people realize people will quit and leverage it.
It’s funny how people always fall for the bunk and can’t see the subtle game.

“I need you to drive an hour one way to sit at a computer and talk to people on the phone in other cities and countries and then drive an hour home”

Can’t wait to see those productivity numbers!
