It’s “commonly known” as that among leftists who can’t help themselves from lying constantly about everything.

This was clearly retaliatory. If Florida taxpayers get stuck with the bond debt Reedy Creek currently has, they won’t be happy about it.

I dont understand why the writer seems to think the state was ‘backpedaling’ When Disney was stripped of its status, it was specifically said provisions were made in the legislation to allow a review of the action with a potential to restore. New CEO of disney is certainly enough to trigger a review. No backpedaling.

This was clearly retaliatory and should not stand. As has been pointed out, the main problem with dissolving the Reedy Creek Act is the bond debt that Disney/Reedy Creek has. Should Reedy Creek end, the bond debt would be passed on to Florida taxpayers, who don’t want it.

Disney has been in Florida for 50 years and a big part of our lives. They employe an estimated 75,000 in our state. That’s a lot of people. They are great for our economy. Leave them alone.
