Some lead is less harmful to the minds of your children than Disney+.

As a scientist involved in a state program that tests for toxics in consumer products, I’ll say this. 1)Only a handful of states have testing programs. Most do not. Not much is done at the federal level. Bottom line: the amount tested is literally a drop in the bucket. 2) we find toxics often at concerning levels in many of the products we test, clothing, school supplies, shampoo, etc. Bottom line: it’s likely a pervasive issue but because of infrequent testing, it’s highly likely that many products we use contain toxins. 3) we found toxins in products made in America as well as foreign countries. Again, it’s a pervasive issue that isn’t due to one country. Corporations make and sell products for profit. Many don’t test their products because it costs money, they don’t have to, and in their minds, it’s better not to know. 4) it also didn’t matter whether we obtained the products from a cheap store, expensive designer store, or mid level dept store. Toxics were present in all.

Lorraine please see above comment by Smitty. Testing shows that significant levels of toxics are found in consumer products made in the USA too.
