I believe Disney is trying to keep Captain Jack Sparrow alive any way they can. They are making it out to be like it is there choice whether to bring Johnny Depp back. There will never be any actor that could replace him in that roll. He created that roll. He is Captain Jack Sparrow. Funny how Disney thinks it is there decision, when in reality, it’s not. It’s Johnny Depp s and ya know what, the man has more morals and standards and values to bow down to such a disgraceful display of unwarranted opinionns thrown out in public destroying a man career. Warner Bros was not “quick to severe ties” with Johnny Depp. My understanding, is that certain “higher ups” and others at WB including J.K. Rowling were fighting for him to remain in the franchise. Ultimately, under pressure, they asked him to resign, and he did. Johnny Depp is a person of many talents, and a creative force whether as an actor, painter, songwriter, or musician. I am waiting anxiously to see where he will take us next.
