As expected, nothing is going change! He even said he is going to concentrate on Disney+ to make it profitable. So, I doubt the parks will still be playing second fiddle

There is already a movement to fire Iger!

How about cutting executive pay to make up some losses instead of laying people off

    1. J

Become an executive is a better choice

    2. Steve

I will meet you half way. He should lat off the woke executives that ran the company into the ground, including himself.

Trading out one bad Bob for another bad Bob. That’s hardly a poor man’s bargain.

  3. Steve

My money is on laying off the mostly white men who made Disney a success, not the useless diversity hires churning out content like Strange World.

The parks are making money the employees are making shut for pay and have to put up with all these entitled people that come there . Cut the CEO’s pay they do t have to deal with the people at the parks. Thing will
Not change Disney is all about money it’s just another corporation .

Igers cut from the same cloth as Chapek, Money Money Money, its all Greed, and Customer Service / Quality at Disney these days are a distant second thought sadly.

Sorry was a bit of a delay in the entry.

Anyone looking for improvement with Iger back is hoping for what will not happen. And for those thinking the board should fix it – look at the board. WOKE LIBERAL out of touch elites. Disney is gone…. Long live the Empire

he did not say there would be layoffs just a hiring freeze. yhe problem is that the parks and resorts at the world are understaffed. especially with workers so get more workers and less management.

    1. JMR

The parks PERIOD are understaffed. It’s mainly because the employment makes it seem like “sunshine & lollipops” until they get in and it’s nothing like that. Strictures bordering on workhouses and pay that is non-existent and not in keeping with the cost of living.Meanwhile, the fat cats in their ivory towers are making money hand over fist. Sad state of affairs.

More confirmation that Iger was the originator of all these unpopular moves under Chapek…. Chapek just picked up the baton from Iger.

We need a CEO that is 100% We The People and one that remains neutral on all positions of power.

I’d be willing to be acting.

What are you ready for? Are you ready for a new Socialistic Disney, or a Disney for who she once was? I believe that Americans alike, are ready to go back on the principles that Disney was built upon.

Family Oriented with real magic that brings families and friends closer together.

  12. Jimmy Jam

Iger, the man behind all the decisions that Chapek made.

Reporting total revenue without reporting net income is completely absurd. Yeah — great — they brought in $20 billion but they only made $162 million. That’s a return of less than 1%. If you’re running your personal finances by spending over 99% of your income then you need to rethink your spending.
