There is no way that fans of POTC or JD will support a film that doesn’t feature Johnny as Captain Jack. Johnny is 100% the reason for success of the franchise. Disney is completely clueless and foolish if they don’t give the fans what they want. They seem to have forgotten that the fans are the ones that sign the paycheck. Johnny deserves much love and respect from Disney due to the millions he has made them. And he deserves an apology for how they’ve treated him. We don’t want a female lead pirate movie. We want the one and only JD/Jack sparrow at the helm of the Black Pearl. We the fans want a great, fun script and we want Disney to listen to us!

Neither Margot Robbie and Dwayne Johnson will have box office success of Johnny Depp. Robbie had a starring role in The Suicide Squad and it did $169 million. Dwayne’s Black Adam under performed on opening weekend for a superhero movie. His Jungle Cruise movie performed poorly. Only Johnny can ensure a $1 Billion Dollar box office.

I am only interested in going to another Pirates of the Caribbean movie if it stars Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.
