This guy just wants to complain about everything and is a male Karen. There is a beach with hammocks for the family to enjoy, so he was wrong about that also.

Exactly what Anita said! This guy is whining about SAFETY??!!! So, if Diz wasn’t safe, and they let people drown, he’d be all over that!!! Re kids and life jackets, any fool knows swimming in a pool vs swimming down there, for distances, are two different things. Little ones tire fast but don’t realize or want to admit it. They go down VERY quickly and yes, even those who are said to swim. If you hate EVERYTHING so, so much, please go to your other locations and not to Diz.

Another entitled Karen. Most of our kids know how to swim, but are fine following the rules to keep everyone safe. We love castaway! Can’t wait to go back!

Why have a pool area at the private island? You have pools on the ship, pools back at the resorts on land… Why turn island serenity and scenery into another hotel pool? We get that everywhere! Kind of defeats the “beach” purpose.

My Family of 4 have sailed with Disney Cruise Lines 7 times with another one coming up , the ships , cast members, amenities and Food have always exceeded expectations as far as Castaway Cays , It’s simply Amazing we’ve Jet skied , road bikes , stayed in the bungalows, relaxed in hammocks , had great Food and enjoyed water activities.
But like all things there’s going to that person that want attention and have baseline claims of disappointment. When you start off with resentment weather its sounded at the time to be great then realised it was not in your budget but you hyped it out to your kid(s) and can’t retract it for something more in your budget , your going to criticise anything and everything . We have sailed other cruise lines as they’re more budget friendly but none of the can compete or compare to DISNEY CRUISE LINES .
To be honest we actually enjoy going on Disney Cruise’s better then going to Disney’s Parks.

I don’t know man, I thought the food at Castaway Cay was pretty terrible not gonna lie. Was there three days ago and had terrible BBQ, terrible Mac salad, terrible coleslaw, terrible burger. I enjoyed the island and the cruise overall but I’ve never been more underwhelmed by food than that at castaway cay

You lost me at the part about drinks being weak on the ship and island. Having been on more DCL cruises than I’d ever wish to count, this is a sign you don’t treat the crew well/tip well. I definitely got some stories for you… Granted it’s harder to feel like you aren’t surrounded by a safety net on Disney cruises (people expect it to be tame and safe cause it’s Disney), but you can often get to where you want in life (to a reasonable degrees within your means) if you are nice and respectful to the people who are just trying to do their jobs. These people hear thousands of people complain to them or yell at them per month. You aren’t special to them if you mess with them for following the rules and not wanting to lose their jobs. You’re special if you treat them like humans that you appreciate. Crazy concept…. treating people like people… I know.

An entire article against Disney/DCL made from the opinions of one guy on the internet? It’s not the first time for this site, and it won’t be the last. Sigh.

  7. Hates Karen/Chad whiners

This is the type of jerk that complains about all the safety features but would sue if they weren’t in place and something happened. Probably doesn’t really watch his kids and expects the life guards and other guests to do it, not saying he does that, but that whining gives up those vibes.
