I don’t understand why there is a need to comment on a 83 year old man who ‘passed out’ on a Disney ride when clearly he had multiple medical issues. Perhaps he should not have been on the ride . However , it was a natural death and not caused by being on a Disney ride . It could have happened anywhere including his own home .
Honestly, if I am 83 and die on the people mover, celebrate knowing that I lived a full life and that I went out happily riding a ride that I love. I honestly can think of a better way to go other than peacefully in my sleep.
Honestly why is this even a story. You have an elderly gentleman that had a history of heart and health issues and he has a heart attack on one of the rides. Tragic yes but the stokers is just using a family’s tragedy to write a ghoulish sensational piece.
So then Mark why are you here commenting about him and the article about him? Crazy how so many people do just what you have done which is to click on the article and then go off the rails complaining that it shouldn’t be news. Are you sure you aren’t Homer Simpson?
No, it is allowed to do so since it was a public event like a car accident and things like that. The family is or should be notified first. That can request no release of information but if they don’t officials can go ahead and release the information.
Nope, all that is public record. I am a private investigator and you can get a copy of the autopsy for any individual that has ever had one here in the US with few exceptions. The rest of you are right. This kind of thing happens Anywhere, US hundreds if not thousands of times every day. Most of the stories on this website are fluff with a few facts written by wannabe influencers and out of work youtubers.
Although I would hate the fact that the people who witnessed it might be traumatized, if I had to die in public the Peoplemover would be a great place to end my days. He was probably having a good time right up to the end.
My sister witnessed a death at a Disney hotel (well, she’s pretty sure he was dead since the paramedics pulled the sheet over his face before loading him into the ambulance), and as a kid my mother saw someone horribly injured falling out of a roller coaster at another park. It was very upsetting for both of them.

But you just commented about him right? Calling the kettle black eh… Related to Goofy I would say.

Oh shush. Stop being a bully
Walt
Yup people die. If anyone wants to attribute his death to the violent nature of the people mover – get a grip.
People die – all the time – and by the way so will you…. but what then?
Aaron
No one is attributing it to the peoplemover

Any time somebody dies in an unusual place it’s a story.

Is this not a breach of privacy to publish this unfortunate man’s name along with his medical conditions??

That’s a great way to go out. Ride an awesome, relaxing attraction and go out on your own.
