  1. Don’t blame him at all. Disney is falling apart. Used to be one of the most family oriented vacations that everyone dreamed of . Not anymore. He’s smart for walking away.

Teresa, I agree with you 100%. We have been going to WDW since 1984, but will not go back until their severe wokeness disappears. I am glad Tim Burton cut ties with Disney. His talents deserve a much better venue.

Hollywood is nothing more than a giant whorehouse. They dangle enough money in his face and Burton will come running back!

That’s called business and playing the game….

Disney is screwing everyone at the moment, so good luck to Tim for standing up to them and telling them to get lost.

I don’t like Tim Burton. Still watch Disney continue to make money off of The Nightmare before Christmas because that fanbase is huge.

Way to,support the big corporations. Shows what you’re made of.

Disney has made some pretty high handed moves in the past. Maybe the loss of Tim Burton’s genius will teach them to treat individuals working with/for Disney with more respect as people.

Who cares? He hasn’t made a meaningful film in a long time.

My family and I have been Disney fans since we visited Disneyland in 1959, then switched to WDW in 1984. Now, after Disney and Bob Chapek, Universal Studios is looking more and more like Disney theme parks of the past. As far as I am concerned, the Magic and Happiness have been eliminated from all Disney theme parks. Very sad!

And Marcus, you haven’t made a meaningful comment in a long time either. Just sayin…

Sad to hear this, but the man is a creative genius and will be fine! Disney has lost big names before (couldn’t get JK Rowling because they wouldn’t give her control of her Harry Potter IP!) so maybe Universal will get Tim Burton too! 😎

Probably left because Disney wants only live action versions of its animated films. Disney is out of original ideas and is banking on as new generation that knows nothing about the animated films that came before
