…but song of the south was deemed in bad taste even when it came out. Like it was outdated back then… which says somethingm this is a non point. It is a racist movie, plain and simple. It was then, it sure as heck is now. I love splash but it has been in need of a retheme for many many years. The choice to theme it to song of the south was only ever a budget cutting placeholder to utilise the animatronics from a defunct stage show instead of creating new one anyway. It’s time to move forward.
