To add insult to injury they apologized on here for hiring a woman who was too pale for Jasmine at a park and for animating Tiana too light in Wreck it Ralph 2. It doesn’t go both ways. This is not equality.
Before you point out that there are lots of white princesses so therefore it’s ok, how about instead of erasing my culture go make some NEW movies about POC princesses like Moana and Encanto. I have NO problem with that.

I’m right there with you regarding Disney needing to write new characters and stories instead of appropriating others. We don’t need black versions of every fairytale and classic story, we just don’t and neither does anybody else. Woke people usually have a term for hijacking identity and culture though when they commit those bad vibes it’s perfectly acceptable and anyone who doesn’t agree is racist.
I swear if one person of color complains about cultural appropriation or that a white person is playing a person of color in any future movie/show. Belle is white. Period. Call me racist I don’t care. But if people of color can play characters such as Annie and Belle, who are clearly white and have always been. Then a you can’t scream cultural appropriation at white folks. You can’t have your cake and eat it to. Everyone wants fair across the board then stop complaining when white people do too. This is absolutely ridiculous and flat out cultural appropriation.
I hate the new Disney , I hate the ridiculous pointless wokeness . I used to love Disney ,but between trying to groom our children and remaking all white characters into colored versions, ruining the live action movies by changing race and sexuality of major characters , and poking gay scenes everywhere their movies are starting to be unwatchable . It is so sad that a former wholesome company is now a laughable perversion of its former self . When is Disney going to wake up to the tumbling stock prices and low movie tickets sales before they wake up and stop pushing the cringe worthy woke agenda that most Americans especially parents shouldn’t be pushed on young kids and forced down our throats. Stay out of politics Disney and focus on giving the people the wholesome entertainment they want!
I think this is stupid and ridiculous we already have a movie like that with Emma Watson no one needs another one that one was perfect. Don’t add more stuff when is not needed. Stop creating movies that were already done many times like Cinderella, Beauty and The Beast, in gets people tired and it bores them because is the same thing again and again.
