    Disney ruined Disney World.

    1. Linda Hildebrand

I agree! My last 3 visits there were miserable. Social media just confirms that I’m not alone.

    2. Disney's Crap Now

      I approve this message!

      AGREE!!!

      1. Glenn

Disney ruined Disney. Social media just documented it.

    4. TjValion

      Bingo!

    5. DPH

More specifically, Bob Chapek ruined Disney. I’m here now and won’t be back.

      1. Christopher

Jews ruin everything – just look at the US as a whole.

    6. Alana

      I 100% agree! It’s not enjoyable anymore.

    7. Cheapskate and his bean counters plus greed ruined Disney saying Disney ruined Disney is insulting to the Disney family. Walt is turning in his grave.

  2. Christian

This girl complaining about it is like getting a “reply to all” email and everyone else replies to all complaining about people replying to all

    1. TheCaptain

Disney ruined everything Disney when they turned their back on the Magic Walt wanted it to be and began yo omly care about greed. Socialist Media ruined society. They aren’t “influencers” They are viruses.

  3. Scott

It’s the return of the term “Mickey Mouse’d.”

    1. Doug

Ban the vloggers. They are annoying as hell and shouldn’t be filming I side the parks for commercial purposes.

      1. Seiena

Ban the annoying vloggers, not the ones that quietly film. If not for those vloggers I’d have never seen most of the disney rides especially in other countries…

  4. Gj

I don’t know about ruining secrets, I don’t follow influencers. But our last trip, I did see a lot of selfie taking that clogged up areas because they’re doing multiple poses and angles as their “photographer” is snapping away for what seemed like forever, lol. They were all over! We all want pics on vacation, I don’t have a problem with picture taking. And I will stand aside so someone can snap a quick shot of something, or offer to take a pic of their family for them. But this was different. Like a photo shoot. One girl was dressed similar to Mary Poppins, swinging around a Main Street light post, completely oblivious to a lady in a wheelchair trying to navigate around her. I didn’t know why I was seeing so much of this until I said something to my daughter and she goes, “Ugh. Influencers”

    1. Rooftop Voter

I don’t stand aside for these ‘photographers,’ I walk right through their shots if they are commanding a wide area. Not stopping every 5 feet for yet ”another” picture taker that wants to snap 10,000 digital photos.

      1. S1

        Go to h*** you jerk.

    2. Sora

Oh I get where you’re coming from. If someone blinks, fine. If someone gets hair in there face, fine, but not only literally taking up the space for hours and being inconsiderate to people who might have trouble moving around, nope.

  5. Influencers clog up the parks and ruin the park going experience. I understand that they are paying guests and that they have a right to be there, but they take their behavior too far and it impedes on the experience of other guests in the park. I think it’s only a matter of time before Disney sets rules about influencers in their parks. Not all influencers are the same, but those that take advantage of the parks are obvious when you visit.

    1. drew

Yeah, and when you decide to spam us with your YT link any talk of “influencers” is instantly nullified. I hope you need to buy followers so it looks like you actually have people who care about your channel. Ugh.

    2. Vincent C

Oh you mean like the rules they set up for people taking advantage of wheelchairs and scooters… pretending to be handicap so they can get to the front…it boils my blood… Disney won’t do a damn thing about either

      1. Dawn

Just a note… Wheelchairs and scooters do not go to the front of the lines. As someone that uses the DAS system, we get a time which is equivalent to the current wait time for the ride. Then when our time approaches we get into line and either go up the exit or up the “single rider”/”Lightening Lane” line…. of which, we usually have a wait there as well.

        1. Seiena

This, on my honeymoon we had to get scooters (my husband has bad knees, and my spine barely functions. We would go to the exit lane as directed and it allowed us to remain seated and safe until it was our turn, but we got on no faster than anyone else. But there were people who looked at us disgusted when they got off the ride because we got ‘special treatment’ which is false.

        2. Geoff

TBH, if someone is genuinely confined to a wheelchair, I would have no problem letting them go to the front of the line with one companion.

  6. Cyndi

I think people ruin Disney. When everyone can stop fighting, screaming, line cutting, and generally be aware of those outside their world of one, Disney will be a great place to vacation again. I don’t want to have my vacation ruined by people who have a “me first, I’m right” attitude.

    1. Todd R Hudson

Well you better not step outside your house then because that is what is wrong with alot of the world today from politics to sports to just everyday people. Its not what can i do help its what can you do to help me attitude. If you dont believe what i believe you are garbage if you are in my space i run you over if you have a wheel chair ill just step in front a cut you off then get mad you hit me its sad to say but the world is a very selfish place

    2. Martin

I totally agree with you Cyndi. When I worked at Disney back in the early 1990s, we didn’t have that many “me first, I’m right attitude” park guests.

  7. Chris B

One problem is we had to label the humanoids as “influencers”, Not sure who or what they are influencing but it gives all of them an ego stroke. The other problem is when one covers Disney in a certain way they all have to cover it the same way. Even with SDCC you had them all over there covering it. Theres no variety with their live streaming. They arent smart enough to be different from the rest.

    1. Rooftop Voter

”Influencer” to me means scammer. Now we have ”content creator” and that also conjures up peeps who do not have real jobs.

  8. Jenn

Have people considered it was a park designed for families to take their kids? Its became a cult, and influencers are just the tip of the iceberg. I loved it when I was 7…

    again, Ibwas 7.

If your big vacation as an adult is to go to an overcrowded theme park for an overpriced waffle shaped like mickey mouse while you have the entire world to see…grow the f up and leave the theme parks for the kids they were meant for.

    1. YourWifesBull

“To all who come to this happy place, welcome” enlighten me on how ALL is defined as families and kids. Go yell at clouds

    2. franklin

So in your mind exactly how would the kids afford to get into the parks without adults paying for it all? I will sit and wait for an answer which I sure will never come.

      1. Erwim

Did a villain get a hold of tik tok at the magic kingdom princess?Did they not extend park hours till 1 in the morning for you?

  9. Mark

Social media has ruined the world. Tiktot is owned by Chinese communist party masquerading as a company.

    1. YourWifesBull

Except it isnt… Why are your lips orange btw

  10. John

We just went to universal and the experience was so much better.
Didn’t see many pompous social media or look at me types as at Disney. They made a strict point of no phones on the rides, and would stop the ride if someone broke the rule. The first 2 times we were at Disney it was great, the third was in 2019 and we enjoyed it but it was obviously going downhill. Now it sounds like chaos.

  11. Deadmouse

No, Mickey and the woke front office took care of this all by themselves.

    1. Bill

      Go back to reading Infowars.

  12. Sally

all so dramatic! we have a blast when we go, if you don’t like it and all you want to do is complain, then don’t go.

  13. JOHN. F WEINBERGER.111

As it a true Disney Fan
I agree it has taken some of the magic away form the experiences.

  14. Brenda

I observed yesterday a small group go from a stand by lane to a lightening lane because they knew that they would not be checked again. Not sure if an influencer announced that or not.

  15. Nicole

Social media has ruined society. And parents have allowed social media to ruin and run kids lives.

  16. Rch

    Ain’t that the truth!

  17. Tim

That tiktok only had 900 views when you made this article

  18. Heidi

In my opinion social media has not ruined Disney…the people who break the rules constantly are ruining Disney. No one should think that it’s alright to break the rules by wearing costumes just to take pictures for their company, young girls shouldn’t think wearing inappropriate tops is a good thing either just to try and get a free t-shirt…thanks for ruining that by doing your stupid tik tok trends. Plus celebrities thinking they OWN the park by getting provate rides when there are dozens of people waiting in line already. Get over yourselves and WAIT IN THE EFFING LINE like everyone else. Who cares if you are rich……you didn’t WORK for your money like the rest did. I might not have been to Disney yet and I hope that someday I will get the chance, but the way things are going…I may never get that chance since so many visitors are causing so many problems. I use social media to stay on top of things at the Disney parks so to the one saying that social media is ruining it…keep quiet, you are also using social media to talk about DIsney.

  19. Lindsey

In your bio it says you’re a “Disney College Program alumni” but alumni is the plural form. You should say “alumna” as that’s singular female or “alumnus” singular male.

    1. Rooftop Voter

Peasant, you were not supposed to catch that. Just for that, you get a 30 day ban from something and double secret probation on top!!

  20. Disney promotes the “me’s” and “self’s” !! Disney ruined Disney, and all thanks to the “look at me’s”

  21. Disney promotes the “me’s” and “self’s”!! Disney ruined Disney, thanks to the “look at me’s”

  22. DPH

More specifically, Bob Chapek ruined Disney. I’m here now and won’t be back.

  23. David

Social media has ruined more than Disney. We have all of these “influencers” that share their “experiences” of these trips and vacations and it leads to nothing but FOMO for everyone that sees it. Thongs now are so blown out of reality and so fake. I live in Utah where we have lots of national parks and state parks. We have wilderness locations and it is a beautiful state. But all of these influencers are doing nothing but crowding up these parks, leaving trash everywhere and disrespecting the park workers and the animals that are there. The locals can’t go to these parks because of how crowded they are.
So when you say influencers have ruined Disney and then there are people saying that it’s greed and capitalism that ruined Disney I would argue that it is both. If our non profit nations parks have been ruined by influencers they shur have also contributed to Disney being ruined.

  24. Jim

If you don’t like it, then don’t go to the parks.

    1. Malikfoxen

That’s precisely what we’re doing, thanks for the suggestion.

      1. Deez Nuts

        Good less people

      2. Dave

Only went once, and honestly will probably never go again. Even if my whole trip was paid for.. Current Disney is an embarrassment to the Walt family. The parks are over priced and over crowded. Also a fair amount of the employees just don’t care

  25. Malikfoxen

I’m seeing an increasing rise in the amount of people actively coming out and saying they want to stay ignorant of the truth and that is the funniest thing in the world. Remaining deluded is apparently preferable to confronting truth and navigating around it. That’s a sad state to live in.

  26. Todd R Hudson

Social media has ruined soooooo much more. The minds of our youths, peoples’ livelihoods. Everything about social media is horrible. Ugh. Get off it and enjoy what’s around you. Go to the park. Get involved in church activities. Take a hike. Learn to kayak, fish. Learn a new skill. Soo much more to life than knowing everything about the Kardashians

  28. P.Davis

    Right?!?

Complains about social media…on social media

    *Puke*

  29. BLOOP

This is barely even an article.
