Intentional overcrowding, waits 2-3 times other theme parks. Low-effort, cost-cutting expansions based on screens. Poor maintenance, with animatronics constantly broken and rides breaking down repeatedly in the same day. Food portions shrinking and becoming more like mall Food Court quality. Hotels where your items are stolen as their staff invades your privacy by barging into your room unannounced and uninvited. Pushing a political agenda that most Americans disagree with everywhere they can.

Disney used to be expensive for a reason, but now it’s just overpriced.

You hit the nail on the head very well.

Also. I agree with the woke group. I’m on vacation, I don’t need politics shoved down my throat, everywhere you turn they are taking their own opinions and forcing them into every aspect.

I have been going annually for a very long time. This year with the cancelation of Magical Express and the failed new paid fast pass which has you running from one side of the park to the other. Makes me want to go to other places now. Sad to say but Walt Disney himself would be livid if he saw what the incompetent leadership has done to his Dream.

Let’s put it this way: it’s no longer worth the price. It’s not fun. It’s gone woke. They took all the fun out of Pirates of the Caribbean. They ruined Splash Mountain. Star Wars is a total annoyance. Going forward, my only reason for ever setting foot in WDW is to be with friends for our annual stay at DVC. It’s the one time we’re all together.

I don’t like the way things are going at all.
Me and my wife are big disney fans living in Europe.
Back in 2011 and 2012 we visited the parks in Florida and Anaheim.
Since then we always wanted to revisit the parks, once our kids would be old enough.

Back in 2019 we planned our Florida visit for 2020, we booked our flights and hotels and we even bought Disneyworld tickets. And then came Covid and unfortunately another uncle Bob became the new CEO of Disney.

This changed everything. In the past Disney used to be expensive, but you used to get a lot for your money.
Nowadays everything that once was included, is now a paid extra. The new expansions are cheap and not very original. (unfortunately this is also the case with most of Disney+ content) On top of this you need to make your reservations for overpriced dinner and rides months in advance.

The idea of a holiday for me is to leave the stress behind and go with the flow. This is no longer an option at Disney, which I think is very sad.

For us, at this moment it is no longer an option to visit the US. Prices for flights, hotels, rental cars and theme parks have increased significally. The economic situation in Europe isnt helping either.
