Sure there is more to the story. Most times it’s peoples attitudes and demeanor that deny them what they want. If she was told no for whatever reason, it would have been her actions and attitude that kept her out. Disney is beyond accommodating.
The people that an obscene amount of money to go to these places might care when they are prevented from utilizing all of their available allotted time just because their hair doesn’t match. The stupidest, most easy thing to change and easiest to identify the person beyond that change thing to squabble over. People pay to spend the day at the parks, not stand in line and get their picture taken over and over again. I’m pretty sure most people feel “entitled” to het what they paid for
She was not “held hostage.” There was no “discrimination.” Cast Members are humans just trying to do their job. Whether they made a mistake or not is up for debate, but again, they’re trying. She is trying to make it a big deal.
You CLEARLY don’t know the whole story, and you don’t know HER, and are implying that just because she is from California she’s somehow “entitled”…sounds like you’re a jealous citizen of a fly-over State🙄
Your entitled to your opinion. But just for reference not everyone from California acts entitled, their are a lot of nice people. Please don’t group us all together. There are alot of regulations at disney people don’t know because they can change frequently.
Ignorance at its finest! If you k ew how to do more thorough research, you’d understand WHY the bees were classified as “fish”…and as far as this particular story, it has nothing to do with her being from California.
I get it. A Disney employee was leaning more on the letter of the rules than using a tad bit of common sense and judgment. However, “held hostage” and “denied entrance because of hair color” are both incorrect statements. When you can’t get your 15 minutes honestly just lie and throw a tantrum over nothing to get featured.
I know right, entitled white people. Do they think they own the world or something. And those black people always fighting at the park, ughhh, causing trouble and I even saw a black family pull out a box of KFC! How disgusting! And don’t get me started on the Asians! I saw an Asian family and one of the kids was doing homework on their vacation!
Excuse me you racist bigot! They are Latinx and who are you to assume that persons gender?! I’ve seen a ton of latinx people who carry their own limes into the park and start cleaning up around garbage cans like they work there. Bad habits die hard I guess? Makes me sick! Ughhhhhh
Stop being ignorant! She’s Latina. You people don’t even know what you’re talking about, and just inject your misinformed opinions as if they’re facts!
Apparently the writer didn’t feel like telling what actually happened. The woman changed her hair and no longer resembled the photo on her pass so they wouldn’t allow her in without her going and getting a new photo taken. Big deal out of nothing.
Same. My AP pass has my natural color (brunette) but I have gone with Sunset colors (purple, orange, pink, and red mix) as well as several other color mixes, and never had an issue.

They said every time her hair changes they need to verify all of her info and take a new photo. Took hours. For many of us that would be monthly change of color. She had her license etc but they said nope need more.
So, if the image had been black & white, like on credit card photos, this would be a non-issue? Or, would it matter if the guest had straight, curled, braided, long, short, cancer hair loss, whatever… it’s kinda dumb.
I have been to DL over 50 times. I have been admitted with colored hair, and while inside I have seen MANY guests inside the park – probably in the 1000’s – with, colored hair. This is a fake story. Either there is WAY more to the story than they are reporting (I suspect it something to do with the “denied” guests attitude or behavior, or, even more likely, it didn’t happen at all.
It honestly just sounds like she wanted to find something to be offended by. She even states multiple times in the comments she completely agrees and understands why they questioned it. Then goes on by saying they are just doing their job. So what really is the issue here? Yeah, you’re inconvenienced but okay? They didn’t deny her access or hold her hostage as she claims. She wasn’t being profiled. She simply didn’t match her picture on her pass.
She wasn’t discriminated because of her hair!! She dyed her hair that crazy color and got mad that she in fact looks different and had to show identification/wait for them to take a new picture for her pass. If the idiot who made this article watched the video you’d see that’s its just someone being annoying. And as a past CM, my hair was half black and half blonde like cruela.. they don’t care what guests do with their hair
So she now gets what is feel to be discriminated against our because of the color of her hair…atleast she can changer her hair we can’t change our skin tone to eliminate being discriminated against. So y’all stop and think when you feeling a certain kind of way when you see someone different
My daughter goes to Disneyworld quite a bit. She currently has bright purple hair, no issues. Also lots of really foul slogan shirts walking around. Maybe we are just thicker skinned in Florida.

It should read “the people that spend an obscene amount of money” but my typing program sticks when I type too fast.

There was one line about the hair color…
Marie
Right?! The rest of it was about magic keys.

This took place in California, the same state where a judge deemed that bees are conciderd fish. Not shocking

Consider getting a spellcheck app.

Maybe take an English class before calling people stupid based on the state they reside in. 🙂

Funny…I walked in veered in Tattoos and colored hair. This may have been a behavior issue instead of discrimination.

My wife and daughters dye their hair all the time and have no problems. This seems fake.

In Disney’s defense her hair is ugly af.
Jo Ann
What color was the person’s hair? I hate when there are not any details.
Avril M.
In the video it shows that her hair was green yellow and orange
Mickey Mouse
Why do you post such stupid content? Just asking for a concerned friend.
Tori
Crazy how all these people who have issues at Disney just happen to be influencers with tiktoks and onlyfans….
Avril M.
The obvious answer here is that we see those most often because when it happens to someone WITHOUT those things it doesn’t get posted about

She is Latina!

I fail to see any discrimination in this story! Everyone runs into issues or inconveniences in life….move on….not worth reporting!
Aly

Failing to believe this tale. My hair is brightly colored and I have NEVER been denied entrance. Do we suppose there’s more going on here…..?
Judy
Can’t be true. I seen all color hair at Disneyland and Disney World. I think people are making trouble to get attention and sue for a quick buck.
