Wasn’t this at the time that Ike Perlman controlled and limited the budgets for Marvel Studios? It’s why Feige almost left too resulting in Disney changing the organizational chart.
I cannot confirm this w/ stats yet but the entire film industry should have changed post pandemic. Until people return to theaters en masse, it will be difficult for movies to make “booku” bucks, enough to pay actors/actresses what they think they were worth pre-Covid.
As someone who feels I’m stuck but still underpaid for what I do everyday I totally it getting what you deserve. The problem here is actors and actresses get paid so far beyond the scope of reality most don’t care myself included. Any joe blow or whatever the female version is would give a limb for the money and priveledges the upper level get to enjoy. They seem to forget this. Whether it’s from movies sports or whatever got musk where he is today the average person doesn’t care. They are struggling to get by and go see that movie. Personally would love to see a movie about the working man/woman and how the people over them use them to better thier own lives. Talk about a true story. Cause it doesn’t get anymore true than that.
They made that movie. Watch ‘The Founder’, starring Michael Keaton. It’s about the McDonalds Brothers and their burger chain. It will make you sick by the end.
