This is “more insanity from Disney.” If the purpose of Genie+ is to help you plan to maximize your fun at the parks, then Genie+ is a catastrophe. So is Chapek and the board should pull the plug on him at once.

They should allow resort guests to book G+ in advance and book their first selections at a reasonable time the night before rather than having to do it at 7am.

Your article has a typo. The paragraph with the price of Genie+ shows as $15 per DAY at WDW and $20 per HOUR at Disneyland.

I was looking forward to my holiday which has been rebooked twice because of covid. Now I’m so stressed about the Genie+ system that if no longer have that excited feeling. More a feeling of dread!! Late to bed…early to rise…to TRY and get on the rides you want. We may finish our holiday with not even riding the ride we want most!! As if a Disney holiday isn’t expensive as it is…now people are saying is all the hassle worth it? We shall see 🤞😬

They should do it like the old fastpass where you could make 3 in advance then a fourth after you used the 3. I have had multiple instances where i paid for g+ but only got to use for one ride. This is not a guest-centered system.

So glad that I’m old enough to have gone to Disneyland in the 1980’s to 2008 ( last time) Can’t imagine having to do this to enjoy a park.
