Are they having a celebration? I couldn’t tell since it’s like nothing different has happened, other than raising prices and cutting everything people love. Oh and massive crowds, man this is the worst celebration ever

    Cha-ching!

Bob and his woke board are killing Disney parks.

The only “celebration” happening is in the corporate boardroom where a group of Disney villains is laughing evilly over how much money they’re fleecing from the public.

How about having the extra hours for everyone staying in Disney parks not just those in the deluxe hotels. We all pay good money to stay on the property. If people stay in the deluxe rooms they were planning to do it because they can afford that or their job is sending them. This isn’t the Disney I remember.

After 50 years of Visiting WDW – all I received was. A Big Visa Bill – Very Disappointing

    2. I agree with Maritza. Just because someone isn’t staying in the highest priced resorts. It doesn’t mean you cannot enjoy extra hours! That is not fair!

I was there in Magic Kingdom on October 1st. A big family trip, over a year in the planning. It was such a disappointment. With the exception of passing out the posters at the entrance- they didn’t do anything special or different from any other day. Couldn’t buy any souvenirs-because the gift shops were like Walmart on Black Friday.! They really dropped the ball on that.

I was there on October 1st as well. The most disappointing trip to Disney we ever had. And an Anniversary as well. Everything you said was true. Absolutely nothing “magical”😢

Disney has lost everything that was special about their parks, the employees seem to have lost the magic as well, some still have it but most do not. Once Chapek took over it went down hill so fast, I was a huge fan of Disney I have Disney Tats all over my body I live 15 mins from the parks and have been a pass holder for as long as I can remeber but I do not thing I will be renewing it having visit the parks in months, just not worth it spending 19 dollars for a drink just ain’t worth it. and people being so rude because they are so stressed what they are spending in the parks so they are angry, its stressful anymore there.

I honestly expected more, the decorations are nice but there isn’t anything special to make it more exciting. Disneyland got the Main street electrical parade back they should have brought that or Spectro magic back at night

Yep, a missed opportunity for Disney here. I was expecting something along the lines of the Year of a Million Wishes. Instead what I got was akin to going to a birthday party and being told I had to pay for a piece of cake because the $3000.00 gift I gave wasn’t good enough.

Other than some decorations and a few souvenirs there was nothing special about the anniversary. Actually I found more souvenirs online than in the park!
I will be going for my great nieces first trip but this might be my last trip. The parks have become a big shopping mall with a few rides.

Now that I think about it the parks really didn’t seem different from any other day. Our trip didn’t seem any more special than any other trip. In fact the celebration was so low in specialness it was sad. I only wanted one souvenir of that trip too and Disney was all sold out and has never restocked. Why wouldn’t you restock something that symbolizes the celebration and you still had a tear to go! I felt like I busted my butt to save for such “a super special trip”, and wasted my money! Not being a snob but you’d think there’d be some extras for people staying in deluxe resorts. NOT A CHANCE! Especially people who return to that deluxe resort time after time. I KNOW they have that info in
      their system.
Sorry but I have to say it again,
WALT IS ROLLING OVER IN HIS GRAVE!!!!!

The 25th anniversary was wayyy above this GIANT JOKE!!!!!

I’ve been to WDW 3 times since the supposedly most magical “celebration” began. I must have missed it. Other than a few gold statues in the parks there wasn’t anything magical about it. It was the same resort as usual. I went to WDW 25th and Disneyland 50th and they were wonderful celebrations. Even the souvenirs were better. I was so looking forward to this celebration but it was a waste of money.

I would’ve never known there was a special celebration. Definitely no magical feeling. Cast members seem to be less magical, some even rude, which I’ve never experienced in all the years I’ve been going to Disney. MK needs to bring back a nighttime parade. The Genie+ system is horrible. What was wrong with the Fast Pass system??? I feel bad complaining, but after our last visit, I’m questioning whether I want to spend my money on future Disney trips.
