Honestly we loved Genie + and Lightning Lane on our last vacation. If we could come more than once a year we wouldn’t do it, but when you just have a 3-day pass it makes ALL the difference to skip those lines and well worth the extra cost. We will never not use it now.
It’s not that it’s a success. It’s more that if you want to go you have no choice but to use it.
I don’t like it at all. As a Florida AP holder it has made it much more less fun.
With a medically fragile child who’s health can change day to day, the system is inadequate and cumbersome.

I should add we used it for Disneyland, not sure how WDW would be. But DL is crazy crowded so we are happy about Genie +.
