“So they can concentrate on the strategy for Phase IV”–

That, or that Captain Marvel really HAS been “dumped”, while waiting for a recast and for Ms. Marvel’s series problems to be worked out.

Absolutely no evidence of those other that wishes and dreams of insecure comic dudes

The hatred that Incel men have for Brie Larson simply because she spoke out on WOMEN’S fair pay and the such is pretty sad and pathetic. Shows that your fragile manhood can be tampered with just at the presence of a woman.

  2. Jerry

    We can only hope.

  3. Greg

Captain Marvel. Mostly cause you guys hate on her so much I want her to succeed just to spite you.

    1. Lonnie

      A troll of trolls.

    2. Kevin

Maybe people “hate” the movie because it was actually pretty bad? Take your feminist blinders off and you might see that. Captain Marvel was one of the LEAST memorable Marvel movies to date in my opinion. Only one that was worse was Eternals.

Movie was fine. Definitely better than the 2nd wonder woman. And about on par with the middle ground of MCU movies. It’s a story about an over-powered super heros… Those are always hard to do well. Same deal with Man of Steel, which was a lot worse than Captain Marvel. Adore Henry… But yeah… Pretty bad movie.

        1. MarvelSheepGonnaBaa

Man of Steel worse than Capt. Mary Jane? LMAO! Not hardly.

          1. Rach-El

No. It was absolutely WORSE than Captain Marvel (which was plenty decent). It’s not just “Marvel sheep”, it’s longtime DC/ Superman fans that hated Man of Suck, too. It’s fans who were actually expecting a bright, FUN and joyful Supes film that *should* have portrayed the character *properly*, you know…kind of like how Marvel handled Captain America – which was far and away a better Superman movie than “Man of Steel”. Captain Marvel was a better Superman movie too, lol. The fact that anyone still accepts the Supes of BvS still kills me.

      2. JRK

Nope, the hate for BRIE LARSON predates and persists in spite of the movie. I bet some didn’t even watch it!

        1. Kevin

Larson is an arrogant, overrated actress riding her success from ONE movie (not Captain Marvel). Sorry you can’t see that. There are many better actresses that don’t think they are God’s gift to the world out there.

          1. Son_Of_Dad

Brie Larson is fine. She’s going nowhere and most of the fans actually like her. These Incels just want women to shut up, smile and be pretty.

          2. Kevin

Blah blah blah “Incels” blah blah blah. Why don’t you repeat yourself 8 or 9 more times?

          3. Jim

            Die mad, bro. 😂

          4. Kevin

Telling someone to die because you don’t like their opinion. Real mature. Grow up, bro.

      3. Greg

Lol “feminist blinders”. Well you are wrong right from the start so one will assume you will contnue to be. I’m just not an idiot. BTW. Thor one and two sucked more. Ironman two and three were not great movies and were mostly carried by RDJ who rocks. Eternals was meh. Age of Ultron was not a great movie though it had some excellent parts. Captain Marvel was the same. OK movie with some not great parts. The stupid girl power moment in endgame annoyed me far more than anything in CM.

    3. Son_Of_Dad

Only Incel virgins are the ones that hate her. Most of us love her.

      1. Kevin

        Repeat yourself much?

        1. Greg

          Yes you do Kevin.

  4. Mike Madigan

Not sure I’m going to trust the word of an article that doesn’t know the difference between static and ecstatic.

    1. Lord LaughyPants

Loved that DC animated show Ecstatic Shock.

  5. Jeff

Why use the term “dumps” for The Marvels, wishful thinking? Switching a February release for July puts The Marvels in a far better position to make summer blockbuster dollars.

And moving a movie from July to February is usually considered dumping. You might want to think more about your article titles in the future. Unless you wanted to make The Marvels look bad?

    1. Kevin

I was thinking the same thing Jeff. This article had some pretty backwards logic in it. Although The Marvels still looks horrible IMO.

      1. Jim

Just curious, but how does something look horrible when nothing from it has even seen the light of day?

        1. Kevin

Judging from what I have read of the concept/story so far.

      2. Chris

I agree with ‘Jim’. Nothings been seen. I thoroughly enjoyed the first movie, Brie doesn’t bother me at all, performance was fine, give everyone a little space to grow and all will be fine. The story arc established with Carol Danvers is pleasing and hope all will be well wuth the next outing. The haters (at this point anyway) are annoying. Armchair critics are an irritating distraction. Chill. Let Marvel “do” Marvel – they’ve been doing GREAT overall this far!

        1. Kevin

So YOUR critiques are just fine while the ones you disagree with “are an irritating distraction.” Got it.

  6. Mechafx

They can postpone them indefinitely for all I care. I don’t like either one of them.

    1. MS

The movies aren’t even out yet so why are you being so rude?

  7. JD

If u “hate” Brie it’s bcuz u r an incel misogynistic virgin.
If u “love” Brie u r a blinded feminist person wanting to shove it to the patriarchy.

A lot of overreaching comments and narratives. Captain Marvel was a bad movie. It’s not bcuz of JUST Brie and her “controversial” comments leading up to the release of the film. The film was rushed in the character development dept. The only ones they did justice to was Nick Fury. Everyone else was bland horrible. That’s more of a jab at the writers of the film than Brie.

    1. MarvelSux

Hear hear, JD! Finally someone who gets it!

  8. UrGod

Every plan thought out 10 years, Marvel foresaw….

Lol then why do they keep swapping stuff out? Get off their jock. These movies are trash.

    1. MarvelSux

      Another person who gets it!

  9. Ghostt187

I get it a lot of folks didn’t like Captain Marvel and The Eternals because they’re not “well known” characters, I really enjoyed both and I’m glad they got to see the light of day.

And are we really gonna just overlook Iron Man 3 and the first two Thor movies? Those are some of the worst marvel movies, but they’ve all still served a purpose for the MCU.

Hawkeye also received a lot of flack, but his show and character arc is dope.

    1. Kevin

IM3 was definitely THE WORST Marvel movie to date. Sorry, but Capt. Marvel and Eternals were very close seconds. And it’s not because they were lesser known characters.

  10. Terrance Williams

I think the Marvels should I either continue as a Disney plus feature or theatrical movie ,I’m in good support of the Marvels, as well as ant man 3 .

  11. Terrance Williams

I am very sure that kang the conqueror in ant man 3 is going to make it so much more appealing. Let me screen write a giant fight l.o.l

  12. Phil

At least they can use smaller sets. PS, it took me TEN TIMES to post this because of those annoying POP UP ads. Don’t those advertisers realize that I make a habit of f NEVER BUYING anything that advertises in a POP UP!!!!

  13. Chris Wood

Well if they have to dump a MARVEL, it should be Ms Marvel! The way Disney panders and placards diversity, by building up her serise and changing her powers, its bound to be a messy freak show.
