    Sounds like Sunshine Flyer is the way to go, for only $2 more per person:

    This is direct from their website:
    “When the guest enters the Sunshine Flyer staging area the guest will not wait more than 20 minutes to board the bus, and the ride to the resorts is scheduled so the last stop will not take more than 65 minutes”

    So, for $2 more per person than the Connect (non-express) MEARS shuttle, you are guaranteed to be at your resort in 85 minutes (or about an hour and a half) or less.

    MEARS may take substantially longer and doesn’t have the theme buses, etc.

    If you aren’t going to take a direct option, Sunshine Flyer definitely seems to be the better choice.

  2. It’s just all about the money for any car service and for Disney now with the way prices are going up at Disney seems like you can’t even go there anymore sad it’s all about the money

    We were in Disney last week. We used Meats with no problem. They were easy to find as they are located where the Magical Express was. There was only one person checking people in, and she was friendly and patient. I couldn’t find my QR code for self service. She was very kind as several people were there at the same time!!
    We were directed to our bus. We didn’t have to wait for the bus. There were several all lined up waiting for guests. Our driver, Cecil, was polite and very funny. The busses are exactly the same ones as used for Magical Express. We were the first to be dropped off at Port Orleans/French Quarter!
    I had my time to be picked up for our return trip and they were right there on time for that too. We were pleasantly surprised to have Cecil driving again.
    We had no complaints about Mears!

      Agree, We used Mears a couple of weeks ago and it was seamless. We knew that we might have to wait by reading the Mears website just like you have to wait for Disney transition to head to the parks from the resort. We would use them again. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

    It’s ridiculous! For our part of 7 that would have been $$$. We rented a minivan for 10 days, for cheaper than we would have paid for Mears. That’s pretty bad.

    1hr wait is an improvement. April 2021 we had a 3hr wait for magical express. The area for the lines does not have adequate AC for large groups of people waiting hours for the bus. Next time we will pay Uber or Taxi to avoid the 3hr wait.

    Disney is not for regular people anymore. Walt would have been upset at how they’ve ruined his park.

  9. As soon as Mears had people’s money, they took the 20 minute guarantee off their site and tripled the wait time. Sounds exactly like a Disney Parks experience to me!

    Uh, I never saw a Mears driver dressed like that. A few are friendly and know they are working at a theme park, others are old and tired and only pay attention to their guests when snapping at them to wear a worthless napkin on their face.
