As someone who only reads the subject I’m shocked that the Little Mermaid put this person in physical pain! Also thank goodness this is Avatar themed and not some nonsense like Dragonriders of Pern!
I’m too tall, the machine had to painfully squeeze me in.. and everytime I see the edge of the screen I was taken out of the experience and blinded with pain.
We took the ride in the banshee in 2019. Of the six of us only one loved it. My husband was ambivalent, my son said ‘not worth the wait’. My daughter, daughter-in-law and I had motion sickness. My daughter’s experience with motion sickness was so bad it spoiled the lovely lunch at Tiffins. In fact we all left to go back to the hotel so she could rest and recover. No one said they would ride it again.
Easily the best ride I have ever been on,we rode it the month it opened so we hadn’t heard any spoilers went with great anticipation and it certainly did not disappoint, brilliant will b the first ride when we return to wdw
Too bad it doesn’t accommodate all body types. Kinda like Dwarf mine ride. Disney used to create their rides for EVERYONE. Not so much anymore. Sad really.
The idea was good and the ride is fun, but not a fan of the movie so wasn’t anything to get emotional about. Would have been better if they had you going through different animal environments, like flying through the Amazon, the artic, dessert, etc…
I took my 5 year old daughter on it. We both thought it was the best ride at Disney! I was cheering and she said it was like riding a dragon. It was intense.

It’s brilliant technology wasted on garbage IP. There are dozens of better choices for the setting (Dragonriders of Pern, for a start).

Won’t be riding it ever again.

Oh my whole family got off and were emotional. It was a bit of a stunned silence in the room. I truly enjoyed every minute of it and was in awe
