  1. I’ve read a bunch of these kind of reports on your site and I 100% agree with them. The only problem is, people keep going and spending the money. I don’t get it. Who knows if it will last, but right now Disney could triple the prices and it seems people would still go (just not us!)

But in once sense, prices have been LOW, and that itself has been the main problem. Let me explain. The price of annual passes last year for my Florida friends was very inexpensive. At the same time, prices for annual passes for everyone else was way too expensive. Several low price ticket options were available for Floridians which everyone else could not get. So what has happened? Disney has HUGE crowds, mostly of locals. Disney is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for us who cannot buy cheap annual passes. The huge crowds and the nature of those crowds LESSON THE VALUE of the product, and herein lies the problem. The value of the product is lessened. EPCOT itself is oftentimes more like a party atmosphere for locals than it is a family vacation atmosphere. I did not enjoy it when I was there in November. It was the first time of many many vacations that I did not enjoy. I cancelled my ?March vacation. Other problems like the genie system have lessened the value as well. I hated having to keep my head in a phone all day. I missed some of the older experienced employees which I guess have been replaced with new ones. To affirm my points, Disney has halted some of their low price passes. They see the problem too. Bad decisions on their part.
