Please make sure to note: the man killed by the Raptor had climbed over a security fence to retrieve his phone and was struck by a passing train car. The man was entirely at fault for disregarding warnings and the security fence!
Your incomplete reporting of the very few incidents tells me you don’t care for Cedar Point. Telling all the information is the truth, and leaving out parts is deceptive.
The Rapture roller coaster? Come on, get your facts straight. The Raptor, and the man was in direct violation of rules by entering a “Do Not Enter” area.
They are 3 different rides- Valravyn, corkscrew, and the Top Thrill Dragster all 3 at cedar point though.
AGREE with other post 1/2 the story is here. As a CP pass holder for the past 30 years and residing 15 mins away this story was a rough read with a lot of 1/2 facts.
Literally came in here to say the same thing. Dude jumped the fence to retrieve something, that resulted in his death. The woman was standing in line, if any research had been done instead of a half assed assessment on a google search you could have found the video because there were a few of them. Also, CP was found not responsible for the accident, but for safety the ride will remain closed. Guess you would have to live here to actually care about what story is being told.

Why do the pictures in the article show what looks like 3 different rides? One looks like a ride in a park in Idaho but I could be wrong.
