One of the fun perks for Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passholders has come to an end, at least for now.

Universal Orlando Resort Annual Passes are different depending on levels. The higher the level, the more opportunities you have to save money on merchandise and restaurants, Park in special areas, and receive special perks like using Universal Express to skip the regular attraction line queues.

Per our previous report, Universal Orlando Resort confirmed that complimentary buttons and magnets, which Annual Passholders were able to pick up at Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, or Universal’s Volcano Bay, are no longer available.

With the buttons and magnets gone, many Annual Passholders have expressed dissatisfaction but Universal Orlando has promised “exciting offerings soon.”

Several changes are coming to Universal Orlando this year. Shrek 4-D will be permanently closing in just a matter of days and Revenge of the Mummy is set to close for a lengthy refurbishment that will have it unavailable for Guests until the late summer.

In addition, Universal Orlando is expected to make major strides on the Epic Universe, its newest theme park that is currently under construction and is expected to potentially open in 2025.
