We paid more for the passes that include the train and are very disappointed that it’s closed. I understand issues but we should be reimbursed for the extra money we spent

Same thing I said to Nicole recently, did you try going to customer service to ask if you don’t tell anyone they won’t repay.

    2. Kat

You paid for tickets that include access to both parks. The train is just a ride.

I agree with Jessica. I booked this trip for my own birthday EXCLUSIVELY to do all of Harry Potter in one day. There’s no easy access to the other side of Harry Potter without the train. I get that it needs to be repaired, but give the people an option to reimburse.

You can walk between the parks via the entrances. It is a very quick and easy walk. They are right next to each other.

There is easy access it’s called walking the 3-5 minutes it takes to get from one park entrance to the other…do it all the time with zero issues!

Boo hoo, walk to the other park for gods sake. You princesses realized that you paid for a 2-Park Ticket to visit the OTHER PARK, so when you enter USF/IOA as your second park, you WON’T be getting a refund. The train is simply a seamless connector between the two, god forbid you had to walk. It’s years quicker anyways.

    VERY SAD

Just so everyone knows it’s faster to literally walk between the two parks. Saying this as an employee. Also trains gonna be down for 10 weeks from what I heard through the grapevine.

      False…already up and running today

        Hola buenos días
Deberían poner al momento de comprar
        Día parque a parque
        No funciona el tren
Y como es posible no sepan en qué día abre
A mí hija es el tren una de las cosas que más quiere
        Si te cobran entrada completa
        Debe funcionar todo
        Y sobre todo el tren

I guess that would be faster than not literally walking.

Not the train, but I have been down twice on two separate occasions and both times Hagrid’s ride has been closed. I was so disappointed. There were people in line quite literally all day… 4+ hours waiting for it and it never reopened. I’d be so upset. It seems crazy to me to spend your entire day in line, but I also understand desperately wanting to ride it. I went and did other attractions instead because I didn’t want to miss out.

Hagelrid’s Motorbike Adventure is the real problem. Constantly breaking down making the long lines even worse. There is no Express for the ride. And the single rider line is extremely slow. I have rarely been able to ride it and I’m a pass holder that goes to the parks frequently. Gringott’s also breaks down and has long lines. Fortunately, that ride’s single rider line is significantly faster than standby and often Express.

      1. Kat

Single rider for Hagrid’s is slower than the line because it’s a two by two coaster. Most of the time now when it’s busy, it’s virtual line, so hopefully you’ll get to ride it easier!

You should probably just go to Disney on your next trip. I hear there are no lines at Disney.

Due to the long lines, I agree that often it is faster to walk to the other half of the Wizarding World. I almost always walk unless the train’s queue is very short. You can easily do both areas in one day without the train.

Yea here today Jan 24th it is open, operating normally.

I am coming in February just for this ride bought park tickets already NOW NO RIDE IS THERE A WAY I GET MY MONEY BACK OR KEAST PART OF IT NOW DONT WANT TO GO.THERE AT ALL NOW WASTED MY MONEY

    1. Bryan

Don’t worry it is back up and running now.

I went Sunday and Monday. Was happy to see it open, but it took two tries — first time there was some kind of problem and they took everyone off the train for a delay. I wouldn’t be surprised if it does need extended maintenance.

I don’t think the only value of a park to park pass is the train, but it’d be nice if they opened the quick access path when the train isn’t running.
