Disney is in the business of making money. As a shareholder that has had to put up with $4,200,000,000.00 in losses due to the pandemic I would urge them to stop giving away cups of water to people that do not order food and once again stop guests from bringing in outside food. For many years, you could not bring in outside food and could only eat it in the Picnic Area. Disney is severely underpriced and it is time to increase the prices and prevent people from taking advantage of the loopholes. Bring a mask or pay for one!
I am an annual passholder in Florida and will not be renewing. We are sticking it to the shareholders and the mouse every possible way. We bring our own snacks, drinks and meals… we do not buy anything at the parks. And we are happy to see shareholders and the Disney stocks take a hit. You are the problem…. And you will see the people who helped Disney grow are walking away to other theme parks. Hope you lose your shirts. FYI we will be just fine without you. Cheers!
Honestly, Disneyland Resort gives free disposable face masks at any attraction or store that it is required at because that was a condition on theme parks reopening in California. There is no reason that Disney World couldn’t do the same.
In fact the buses at WDW will give you a free face mask if you need one because yours was lost or damaged at least they did in June.
If there is a way to make a profit, disney will find it. And shareholders will support that reasoning, they are, after-all, shareholders. The consumers will eventually either show up or shut up and stop going, or they will smarten’ up like one commenter says, and start going elsewhere. Then the shareholders and stocks will see a change, and maybe make some changes. Til then, we will all stand by and watch… it will take some time… so grab your popcorn… it’s gonna be a bumpy ride
