We have experienced the new DAS program.
I will say it was easier to choose the next attraction on the app, but the wait times were much longer with this new system.
One major issue we had is they no longer grant a DAS pass if all the person has is a mobility problem. Now, there has to be other medical problems to be granted the pass.
My husband who is a disabled military vet had to divulge his personal health information to get a disability pass. This is against hippa laws. In my opinion no one should have to divulge their personal health information to a Disney cast member to be granted a DAS pass.
It’s not against HIPPA laws. That law is to keep medical personnel from telling your medical information to anyone not authorized. If you’re giving Disney the info, that’s on you. You’re free to not give Disney your info, but you can’t participate in the program, as verification helps curb abuse.

Thank you! I’ve been saying that for so long!
