The Main Street, U.S.A. venue, called Plaza Point, welcomes Disneyland Guests with all sorts of warm holiday goodies like festive decor, housewares, ornaments, and other yearly holiday offerings celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Lunar New Year, and Spring!
Disney Parks’ NEWEST Holiday Store, Plaza Point, Opens TODAY at Disneyland!
Plaza Point, in Disneyland Park, is the newest shop to open. Celebrating all things holiday, the shop will be open year-round for you to experience the merriment! Take a peek from time to time during the year to see the new holiday offerings each month. You’ll find ornaments and goodies from around the world, showcasing different cultures and their traditions. From the Disney Parks Blog, we get a sense of what you can expect today on Main Street, U.S.A.:
Inside Plaza Point, you will find fun seasonal items – from ornaments to home décor, collectibles and more! And, throughout the year, the store will change seasonally to showcase additional holidays as well, such as Lunar New Year, Easter and Halloween, to name a few. That means you’ll want to make a stop in Plaza Point each time you visit to not only see the latest décor, but also shop the current seasonal merchandise!
You’ll also be able to personalize an assortment of ornaments for yourself or your family. Watching the Cast Members create your one-of-a-kind piece of Christmas merchandise artwork is a gift in itself!
What’s very cool is that the shop also has a backstory. Like every good design springing forth from the minds of Imagineers, this shop has a bustling proprietor. This one is named Miss Evelyn Toro. She is a world traveler, collecting unique pieces of holiday décor as she goes, and brings the treasured items back to display in her store. The warm, wood-paneled store fits perfectly in the Victorian era of Main Street, U.S.A. Perhaps she is a member of the Disney SEA Society ?
