Just FYI, Cobb Vanth wasn’t introduced in this show, he was introduced in the Aftermath books.

True that Cobb Vanth was introduced in Aftermath but that’s now his Legends version. The new canon Cobb Vanth has a slightly different backstory and doesn’t have Jabba’s Rancor Keeper as a love interest.

They have a good formula. Why rebrand it and become the next “new coke”?

Imma gonna guess it will be called “Womandolorian” to keep in line with gender race swapping trends.

I guess Jon Favreau could fight the good fight for only so long.

Don’t these woke idiots understand space is populated by 90% men, and only 10% women and most of those women are supposed to be super hot? Putting bossy women in prominent roles threatens our manhoods as heavy consumers of fantasy entertainment!

      1. RichC

        Master Troll you are (Applause)
Pulling nonsense stats and talking points no one supports. Threatens our manhoods? Really? Not one person says this nonsense but the Woke minded.

After everyone’s sexist comments, the name change will probably be something like “Great Galaxy Defenders” or something macho people will enjoy. And you will all be squealing like man babies in joy.

I hope they do call it Womandalorian just to see your ungrateful sexist head explode.

The best thing about the Mandalorian was the return of Boba Fett, but second best was the minimal use of magic. The Force started out as a mysterious invisible force of nature but with each successive movie has become increasingly powerful to the point of allowing ridiculous things to happen. Want an unconscious person to fly through space – without a space suit? Sure. Want two individuals to communicate, touch and even transfer objects across distances which would take many years for radio waves to cross? Done. Want even people who don’t command the Force to be “Force-sensitive”? Why not. Most importantly, want dead good people to come back as magical ghosts, and even a bad one or two to return if it brings back a favorite baddie? Absolutely! You name it, the Force can do it. Which is why there are only 3 1/2 watchable Star Wars movies out of the lot – the original, Empire, Rogue One and about half of Return of the Jedi.

“Takes many years for radio waves to cross…”

Can’t the Millennium Falcon get from point A to anywhere in 10 minutes?

      1. Po

I agree but my half would Rogue One. How can anyone hate on those sweet, lovable and cannibalistic Ewoks? lol

  5. Mason

No since this is not the way.(Before reading this I thought it had to deal with Disney’s Woke Agenda since the name is The MANdalorian)

Give it a break. Get a vaccine and go away.

I can’t really guess why they would change the name. It’s a brand bite and people love the themed approach. The music, the logo, the band it all works together.

Woke you are, broke you will be. Watch any Star Wars or Mandalorian series or spin-off, I will not. If a political statement show, it becomes.

  8. Jess

I don’t give a crap what they call it so long as the show is interesting.

    1. Banana Retro

Yes! This is probably the most sane comment here.

Should keep the mandalorian name for the series be an utter joke to change it

  10. Sue

The Mandalorian it’s really nothing Without Pedro Pascal in the lead role. That is the show and if he’s not coming back they may as well change the name. He’s moved on most likely to a more challenging acting Role with his new series. He will always be the Mandalorian. I don’t think anyone can take his place.

    The Mandalorian becomes ‘The Mandalorians’

Following the highly successful Alien/Aliens style.

Then it’s a group of Mandalorians (which they’ve already established) and it can be all about Mandalore etc, and doesn’t need to link in much to the Skywalker saga at all even through the Sequel trilogy time period.

Feels like the majority of comments on any Star Wars article these days are just back & forth between people accusing others of being “woke” and the accused returning fire with “manbaby”. So sad. Just enjoy the show folks, the main thing that counts is whether it’s good (and it is).

Mand’alor. You put the beten in the wrong spot.

    1. Meshurok

      P.S.- Mando’a is gender neutral.
