It’s sales marketing. You , The interested fan, were already going to buy some thing like this so it doesn’t matter who is on the cover. But for somebody who isn’t into the whole marvel thing yet might see somebody and say hey that’s like me and be interested in the superhero. Diversity and all that.
Not that it matters but my guess is Tom Holland is left off, as he’s Spider-Man movies are owned by Sony.
The others likely just wanting to fit characters in, and try to make it more diverse than having all white men on the poster (especially when the MCU is so diverse)
