Got up at 1:30am to get ready for this (yay timezones), sat in a virtual “waiting room” on the site for 30 minutes and was immediately faced with….”no times available” 🙁 I clicked get available times within 15 seconds of being released from that virtual queue and everything was already booked for 10/02. I’m so bummed. Waited up hitting refresh for another 30 minutes just in case someone grabbed multiple spots and let one go but nope…

I woke up at 1:55 am, waited in a virtual queue for 26 minutes-received notice there were no reservations available. Kept clicking the “check times” button a few times-I am happy to write that I was able to reserve space for me and my hubby!!! Took about an hour, but I’m so happy I didn’t give up.

Gone are the days of just happily going to a Disney park and enjoying everything there so easily, and, might I mention, no extra charges for any thing. Now, it is schedule, reserve, pay, pay, pay for everything. Used to be able to just “walk up” to whatever you wanted to do, but now that comes at “an added cost “. Not the same experience anymore. Where’s the fun now. No spontaneity. Now it is let’s see who has the most money.

Reservation at an on property Hotel. /Up at 3am to book. I’m in California. Friend in Florida up at 6 for reservation opening. Went through many different avenues and Voila I got one for Nov. 12th at Rose and Crown. Disney makes it so hard even to just book an event. I will be in Florida for a Nov cruise and wanted to visit WDW before. Got lucky I guess as linked friends are still trying to make a reservation.

Wait. Does this mean you can sit right up front to watch a fireworks show? And all I have to do is pay more money for it? That Bob Paycheck sure likes to give the guests so many opportunities.
