Yes, it is puerile and just for show. All the scare actors I know do not want it as it gets in the way of them doing their job and stagnants the air. There was no restrictions back during swine flu which has a higher mortality rate. There will always be some virus. The integrity of the event should not be compromised to try to make some people feel better. If people are so concerned over a virus they shouldn’t be going to these types of events. The plexiglass/vinyl completely takes away from the immersive experience and the scare factor. Very sad that hysterical are ruining things for everyone.
High vaccination rates yet ongoing restrictions and taking steps backwards still in some places including universal studios. This whole COVID thing and these restrictions is getting to be ridiculous! Especially after 18 months and still dragging on! Would love to go to universal studios still however even if come than there are still pandemic restrictions for at least I would of gone there to see and experience universal studios in person.

You didn’t care about the 30,000-60,000 that died before? But now everyone is an idiot that doesn’t jump for joy at these restrictive measures? Spoiler alert: it is possible to NOT be happy that things continue to get ruined, particularly when it IS avoidable.
Did you know that each year more than 11-million die of Sepsis throughout the world year after year and it has a 20% death rate if you get it?
Covid has less than a 1% death rate and about 10% of the deaths that Sepsis has.
I am not saying this to belittle Covid, but lets be real as well by comparing this to other diseases that are far more deadly YEAR AFTER YEAR!
Your choice not to go to Universal or Disney or Applebees!
Those that are worried or don’t want to take the risk DO NOT HAVE TO either attend the park or work there. I think Universal is doing this to keep their business from being trashed by the cancel culture plague.
