Will probably purchase, but see they are still offering financing which make me wonder how much they are going to be controlling stuff. Financing means almost everyone who had one before can still get a new one. However they can now control who can get in with required reservations. So Disney seems to get the benefit with still making it easy to buy a pass, but harder for Passholders to get into the parks. Seems like a win for Disney but not necessarily for the passholders.
Are there any guarentees that after buying that you will be able to use it a certain amout of times? What if you buy one and can never get reservation on days you can go?
WDW passholder here. I have the highest most expensive annual pass, which I just renewed. I don’t have block out days, but there have been times I couldn’t get a park reservation for not just days, but weeks. I’m only allowed 3 at time, and all other levels of passholders can also get 3. I’m hoping it will change soon, as my only benefit at this point is being able to have the potential of going during holidays. And that’s only if there are open dates. I thought they would at least let us make more than 3 reservations.
And BTW, we are supposed to be suspended from making reservations if we are a “no show” too. There are several friends that don’t show up on a regular basis, and nothing has ever happened. I know, because they are on my list and I see there plans all the time.
It seems our big sister in California is getting a fair deal compared to ours in that aspect.
However, the expense is high for not getting full privileges on both coasts.
I’m just going to wait it out.
And we are all watching to see what happens with Fastpasses.

What time do the “Magic Keys” go on sale exactly? Is it 08/25 2021 at 12:00 EST(midnight) or 9:00 AM?
