One of the restaurants that will finally be opening again at the theme park is the Main Street U.S.A. hotspot, Carnation Café. Disney Parks Blog shared more information on the much-anticipated reopening:

Carnation Café at Disneyland park, opening Sept. 16, is all about classic comfort food! Start your morning with Mickey waffles, and for lunch (and dinner!), enjoy some of Walt’s favorite chili or Chicken fried Chicken. Maybe find a new favorite like the Parmesan-crusted Patty Melt or the new Short Rib with homemade Mac and Cheese. For me? I can’t wait for the Fried Pickles!

Carnation Café is one of the few sit-down restaurants Guests can go to at Disneyland Park and is incredibly popular among visitors to The Happiest Place on Earth. Here is some more information on the classic comfort food location from the Disneyland Resort website:

Relax under a candy-striped umbrella and watch the world pass by—or unwind inside the Victorian-style dining room as waiters in vintage dress bustle past. The Carnation Café takes you on a trip to the turn-of-the-century with a nostalgic menu of delicious delights for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Carnation Café is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They offer a wide variety of classic comfort foods, including eggs Benedict, classic Mickey waffles, and baked potato soup. However, they are also famous for their super yummy fried pickles, as well as Walt’s chili — a classic dish that was Walt Disney’s favorite thing to eat.

Reservations are not required to dine at Carnation Café, however, due to the restaurant’s extreme popularity, reservations are highly recommended, as it can be nearly impossible to simply walk in and be seated.
