Oh my gosh… such an awful tragedy! My name is also Mikey, and oddly im also a huge jaws fan, it’s my favorite movie(im even wearing my jaws shirt coincidentally right now)…. and while I never met either Mike(y), just that bit we have in common made this story feel as though maybe in some way we have met before…
I just can’t believe how horrible this must be for the surviving family…. the quote someone said in the story, something along the lines of ‘they were always inseparable, it was fitting that since they did everything together that they would leave this world together too’
Oh my god that brought tears to my eyes …. to have such an awesome dad and his amazing son share a bond like that and to have the world lose it to such a meaningless and completely preventable accident…. my heart goes out to those two and their family…
