The low vote count for season 3 doesn’t mean a lack of interest. C’mon, surely you can think of a better reason than simply saying uhhh the ‘most likely reason’ is ummm maybe the fans just don’t know what’s coming?? What else were you expecting when you put ANYTHING Star Wars related up against the Obi-wan series? Take that series off the list and ask people to vote on just the others and I think you’ll see drastically different results. We know the Boba Fett series is coming very soon so no huge surprise there that it comes in second. To me, The Mandalorian, feels like a complete series just the way it ended. I don’t think it needs another season unless there’s a time jump/
I am super excited about all the upcoming series, especially seeing Rosario Dawson play Ahsoka Tano, however super disappointed that we keep having to wait for production to even start; which means it will be probably more than 2 years to wait for season 3! I sure hope they also have GROGU in it as this show and DISNEY + is what it is because of the fans adoration for this character!
There’s no denying that Gina’s firing left a bad taste in a lot of Star Wars fans mouths. What’s apparent is apathy is setting in to the fandom since Lucasfilm put agenda before storytelling.
I totally agree. I Iove Grogru. Love to see the story continue.
I understand Disney needs to be neutral. Celebrities and Brand name owners should NEVER make political statements. It’s a sad time for free speech. When you discover someone/product owner supports the “other side”, don’t you feel a bit disappointed? I do. But I still support their right to feel the way they do. I like some of them too. I’m hoping this divisiveness ends soon. Just my opinion.
Well to be fair, it will not be disappointing to me…I have no intentions of re-subscribing or watching it till Gina Carano is back onscreen, Kathleen Kennedy is gone, and Disney has made a very open and public apology to Gina and we the fans.
Most fans are not excited, because they have no faith in Disney. The firing of Gina Carano has left a sour taste in everybody’s mouth. Nobody likes Kathleen Kennedy’s brand of Star Wars, and with the firing of Gina Carano and the removal of rangers people feel we’re going to get more of her crap and not Favreau and Filoni
Funny how those against Gina’s firing are on the right side, but the right side is now calling for NPR to be defunded because they didn’t like an editorial which was read on July 4th. Seems like all sides need to grow up. Also, if you’re any star, and you want to spout your opinions off because you have the fame, just stop. I may like your character, but I do not give a flying flip what “side” you’re on. Save your opinions and political views on your personal page, and keep a fan page which is about your show. I watch shows to get away from the “reality” of the real world, not to obsess over someone’s opinion. I don’t need a star to follow for advice whether it’s about political figures, vaccines, health issues. I think I am more than capable to think for myself. Maybe others should do the same.
I may not like what a celebrity has to say. But it will not stop me from watching their show, and I will not call for them to be fired. And asking for taxpayer dollars not to be spent on an anti-American editorial is different, though I would not call for them to be defunded for that reason. I just don’t think that the government has any place in funding a radio show/network. Particularly when it is very clearly is biased towards half of the country

I’m very excited about the third season of the Mandalorian. Can’t wait. This show made Disney + what it is today.

Am I the only one that likes the show a lot, but could not care less about Grogu? He just didn’t add anything of value for me.
Danielle
Yes. Yes, I think that’s just you! ?

How is being more excited about something else and not knowing what to expect the same as expecting to be disappointed??
Paul
Absolutely looking forward to season 3. Couldn’t care less about Gina.

Have you ever heard of a more crybaby fanbase than Star Wars fans…?
They said the exact same thing about season 2
