So this ride has other problems besides the frozen yeti. Put it under for a long overdue extended refurb and fix it already!! If I ever get to Disney World I want to experience this ride in all its glory.
Good luck. I went on the ride when it first opened and saw the Yeti working properly. I’ve never seen it work right since then.
Disney has shut down a number of times in an attempt to fix it and it’s a mystery as to why they’ve never been successful.
? Expedition Everest, but just like Indiana Jones at Disneyland, ‘mechanical issues and general maintenance’ will always keep this Ride shut down randomly (do us all a favour and fix what you can even if you got to shut it down for a year!)
This is the Bob ‘Cheapskate’Chapek Era, he brags about new Rides and Attractions and they already have instant ‘mechanical issues and general maintenance’ from day one (at Avenger’s Campus and Galaxy’s Edge!)

Ride breakdowns are a direct result of limited and reduced ride maintenance. Disney has rehired less than half of its staff per the pandemic.

We all know Disney works after hours to fix and repair. Spend the money and fix and repair already! Isn’t that what we all pay you to do?

For the price of the tickets/hotel packages at DL and WDW, there should never be ongoing maintenance issues.
