Guests visiting Disneyland on June 30 were given an extra dose of magic — Mickey’s Mix Magic fireworks show! Originally scheduled to return on July 4, Disneyland Resort decided to test the fireworks tonight, and boy did the crowds love it.
Instagram user Wonders of Magic shared a live stream of the fireworks shooting over Sleeping Beauty Castle as projections were shown on the castle, down Main Street, and on the “it’s a small world” building.
I hope you all enjoyed the Live!! ??? We were live on our YouTube channel for Mickey’s Mix Magic fireworks in @Disneyland If you missed it no worries the link is in our bio!
Mickey’s Mix Magic first premiered at Disneyland Park in 2019 as part of the Get-Your-Ears-On Celebration to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Mouse who started it all. The show was incredibly popular and made several appearances until the theme parks had to shut down due to the pandemic.
Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort were excited to experience the fireworks after a more than year-long hiatus. They took to social media to share their excitement and pictures of the event.

For those who have not experienced Mickey’s Mix Magic at Disneyland, it is an amazing combination of dance music, incredible fireworks, and stunning projections. The Disneyland website describes the fun time that will be had by all:
Rock your world at Mickey’s Mix Magic, an extravaganza bursting with magical song tracks, kaleidoscopic projections and exciting lights and lasers guaranteed to electrify your soul!
The scene is set as state-of-the-art projections, lighting and lasers turn Main Street, U.S.A., the water screens on Rivers of America and the façade of “it’s a small world” into dazzling displays of sight, sound and color.
While Guests were able to experience Mickey’s Mix Magic on June 30, there is no word as to whether or not Disneyland will show the fireworks show again before the 4th of July date or if this was just a one-and-done preview show.
