Their workers are champions. Being out in this heat with masks is borderline dangerous. But they do it. All while the CEO sits in his AC cooled office with no mask.
I think they are going way too slow….time to ditch masks completely everywhere, we now know they are nothing more than theater and may in fact being do a substantial amount of harm.
I think it’s soooo ridiculous. Time to move on. Take off the damn masks permanently!!!
I think they want to lose business. Either that or they want people to get heatstroke.
The entire state has dropped masks mandates, stores are wide open as well as restaurants, and even the Tampa Bay Lighting have a full (and mostly unmasked) crowd at hockey games. Why Disney still has a mask rule is really exposing their far left biases.
And now Bob Iger or whoever the new guy is needs to do what the rest of the state is doing and get rid of masks. If someone wants to wear one they can. If you are vaccinated your chance of getting it are something like .0008% so it’s time to stop scaring people. If someone who is not vaccinated doesn’t wear a mask that is on them if they get sick.
Forcing cast members to wear masks outdoors in the heat and humidity is abusive and cruel. This practice risks potential heat-related medical backlash. They better think twice before cast members start dropping from heat stroke or worse.

How right you are! The people at the top have no clue and never follow the same rules.

Do you still have to wear your mask at Walt Disney world in Orlando Florida
James
Currently it’s required indoors and while in outdoor entrances. Hopefully they do away with the entire policy.

What I would love to see is a coordinated effort of enough guests inside the park and all take their mask off at the same time.

It was Bob Iger who first suggested masks and temperature taking LONG before Dr. Fauci or the CDC ever thought of it.
