Glad to see this happening. Not only will it pave the way for increased capacity, at some point, it can also help bring back Fast Pass now that more people can fit into the stand by lines.
Honestly, I am shocked anyone is still paying high prices when you still have to be masked. Especially in Florida in summer. No thanks. I wish more people felt that way. I can maybe understand indoor attractions, but it’s pretty common knowledge Covid doesn’t spread easily outdoors. Now that people have had the chance to be vaccinated, let everyone make their own decisions and get back to normal.
This is the dumbest thing I’ve read this morning. You wear a shirt and shoes, even though it’s hot, you can handle a mask or please do keep your ignorance at home! Masks keep the rest of us safe from idiocy like this. Suck it up, buttercup!!
We have a vacation booked for June, and I’m so worried they are going to increase capacity before then and it’s going to be madness ?. We booked it when everything was still under the original protocols. Now with everything changing, I have no idea what to expect.
Glad they are moving to 3′ and they should leave it there for good. Remove the mask outside. They are not needed and you need to breathe fresh air not your own breath through a sweaty mask. in that hot and humid weather. Disney seems to be slow moving on this.

This in it self is very good news to me ,meaning people are continuing to get vaccinated and maybe just maybe we can all look forward to no masks outside, I do feel bad for young children because I know how I as an adult feels wearing a mask for hours at a time ,but with that said I do like that disney are looking out for the human population even when we don’t look out for ourselves, me and my family are all fully vaccinated and we have made plans to go in October this was a promise we all made to each other if we were still all well ?so it looks like planning this gave us something to look forward to.
The only reason we are going this Summer is because I won a trip (before Covid) and have an end date that we must be complete. Otherwise, I would NOT be heading to Disney with any of these restrictions, especially the Masks. If you are worried about a nearly 100% recoverable virus, please stay home. I’m not concerned about a virus spreading from casual contact; I’m actually more uneasy about being in long lines for rides because all of the other guest experiences that folks wait on line for (meet & greets, shows) are gone.
Disney needs to focus on customer experience and let folks make medical decisions for themselves. Happy to sign a waiver.
Orange County? WDW get with the program. The governor lifted ALL covid restrictions last week – no more masks no more social distancing. Full capacity was reinstated in January.
I do agree with a couple of other people above – dropped the mask ad it is too dangerous to wear in the heat but keep the social distancing – I always hated how they squeezed everyone on top of each other.
Please remove your mask mandate, there’s no reason for it anymore. Unfortunately I’m going to have to cancel bringing our granddaughters in July if it’s not because I cannot walk outside in the heat with a mask on.
It is absolutely pathetic! Disney needs to get over their liberal selves and take masks away at least outside. We have all been played and this is ridiculous.

Keep the distance- remove the masks. It’s nice not having the party behind me breathing down my neck while in line.
Sharon
Take away the masks NOW! Especially on CHILDREN
