I, for one, love Disney+ and hate Disney Channel. I use Disney+ to watch classic Disney movies and a very special sitcom entitled Wizards of Waverly Place, which needs a reboot ASAP! Once in a while, I watch the Bug Juice revival series. Overall, Disney Channel is quite disappointing, but Disney+ is not.
Got the 3-year deal when it first launched and will not be re-subscribing after next November. If they take it off my cable, oh well. Disney can take their greed and shove it
All these media companies think their content is so important. Newsflash tv execs, it’s not.
I’m disappointed. Admittedly, I myself watch more Disney+. But many families can’t afford a streaming subscription for every channel. They rely on being able to spend their money on services that give them the most return on their investment. Many cable and satellite services offer Disney channel in their lower tiers, enabling more families to have access to Disney content in the same package that gives them local channels and niche channels for the whole family, and they don’t have to have high-speed internet to watch it. Disney programming should not be limited only to those who are more financially comfortable. It should continue to be available through a variety of methods so that each family can choose how they wish to access it.
So disappointing. Not everyone can access Internet for video content, my own mostly buffers because it was meant for college course forums and job applications, not streaming video. Disney needs to change its strategy to be more accessible to everyone, not just those who can pay more.

This is all about getting people to join their streaming service and make more money for their wallets. Capitalism at it’s finest.
