I have been chatting with an online CM about this very issue for a week now. I asked about how I could link our group together in order to ride ROTR. This was thier response;
“Tickets can only be linked to the purchaser’s account”
I replied;
Odd. Prior to closing last year, when we were getting ready to make a reservation for ROTR, everyone in our group would link our APs so when one of us got the res, we were all shown as a group. So if we can’t get a res as a group, does that mean each one of us has to hope we get the same time? How will that work?
Oh this is so weird! I hope they get it all figured out asap.
My friend bought our tickets & made reservations for our 2 families. I am unable to link my family’s tickets to my Disneyland app. Therefore, at the moment, she is the only one who can try for ROTR reservations for our 2 families. Fingers crossed they figure it out. At least in our case we either all get in on her app on the same reservation or not. I can’t imagine what a pain with your situation where everybody is responsible for their own ticket.
I asked the same thing and was told the same thing. We are lucky as I bought all the tickets so we are at least all together. I guess the pressure solely rests on my shoulders to get us a boarding group! Ugh!!
I just brought tickets and had the most difficult time linking them to reserve the parks now reading this I need to link to the ROTR as well. Disney is making this process be far from magical
