We were able to experience this at Disneyland Paris in November, 2019. The attraction is just great. The whole set up is really well done with the rooftops of the buildings and all. Even that whole area at the Walt Disney Studios is so much nicer. The attraction itself is super fun and so well done. As I understand, it is being duplicated without any modifications so it should fantastic when it opens at EPCOT.
I understand the need for growth and expansion to stay relevant, but adding IP’s to the World Showcase seems to take away from their original purpose and focus. It started in Mexico, the 3 Caballeros, with a “Mexican inspired” rooster that is more of a stereotype and borderline offensive. Continued to Norway and replacing an attraction that showcased Norway’s past to present along with folklore…only to be replaced with a fictional kingdom that isn’t even technically set in Norway. Now France get’s Rats…
Correct me if I am wrong, but the World Showcase is supposed to highlight the actual countries that they represent. Not a chance to sell more IP merchandise. Cartoons and fictional “kingdoms” have a place in WDW…it’s called the Magic Kingdom!
Could be… look up why they have to keep the cost up… corporate raiders will have no problem in knocking down Disney and selling the land.then we have no disney
