These two hotels combine great value with high-end amenities and make it a great choice for your next family vacation to the Orlando area. Universal Orlando Resort is home to two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure. They also have a water theme park, Volcano Bay, and a dining and shopping district called CityWalk. How affordable is “extra-affordable”? The rates at the time this article was published for a  standard room start at just $88.00 a night if you stay a minimum of four nights! A two-bedroom suite is $132.00 a night if you stay a minimum of 4 nights. However, we have seen them as low as $77 a night — what a deal!

What about food? Universal’s Endless Summer Resort Dockside Inn & Suites serves up fresh food from their Pier 8 Market. It is a fast-casual dining experience that sticks within your budget. With five different food stations to choose from it is perfect for picky eaters or large parties. Nothing at Pier 8 Market is over $12.

There is also a Starbucks in the hotel if you want to pick up a coffee or pastry.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, this casual food court offers food and drink in the laid-back SoCal tradition. From awesome breakfast sandwiches and burritos to roasted chicken, burgers and salads. The options at Beach Break Cafe are both familiar and innovative; power bowls, pizza and the mighty Pipeline Burger. And everything is affordable—with no item on the menu over $12.

The best part about these super affordable hotels has to be the pool area.

The pool connects both Surfside and Dockside Inn & Suites with a massive swimming pool shaped like a surfboard. This incredibly themed area is really fun and large enough for the whole family to spread out and soak up some sunshine.
