Yeah this false. IMDB can be edited by anyone and as someone who has been involved in a recent project at Lucasfilm, I can confirm that George Lucas is not involved in any upcoming Star Wars series or movie.
Also note that writer credits can also simply refer to the whole “based on characters created by George Lucas” line that is added in the end credits.

As long as Star Wars is married to Disney I will not watch. Disney has killed Star Wars for me. Both in story line and how they chose to treat their actors.
Star Wars will be back in Lucas’ hands when Congress breaks up Disney and takes it away from them under antitrust. Nobody would miss Disney ownership of Star Wars.
